Welcome to Moore Activity Day Care
We provide a stimulating day service environment, for active adults with additional needs, who are keen to be involved in indoor and outdoor activities.
We support adults of all ages, by developing skills to increase their independence. We aim to build on people’s potentials, rather than focusing on their limitations.
Group members can join in with varied sessions of gardening woodworking, metal-work, Land Rover restoration and mechanics.
Tuition is available in weaving, braiding, knitting, sewing, tapestry, carpet making, growing and cooking food, food hygiene, basic life skills, health and safety, animal care and allotment planning.
We encourage the development of social skills, good citizenship, reliability and commitment from our groups.
Emphasis is placed on team building, establishing and maintaining good relationships and effective communication skills.
